ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION PROCESS

You cannot apply through our website directly. Palmetto Boys State is a program sponsored by the American Legion. The local American Legion posts select young men to attend Palmetto Boys State between their Junior and Senior years of High School. The selection process is conducted through each local legion post. Your high school guidance counselor should be able to give you information about who to contact. Please contact the counselor or your local American Legion Post about the possibility of being selected. The American Legion and Palmetto Boys State does not discriminate among the selected delegates based on race, color, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
