ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION PROCESS

You cannot apply. Palmetto Boys State is a program sponsored by the American Legion. The local American Legion posts select young men to attend Palmetto Boys State between their Junior and Senior years of High School. The selection process is conducted through each local legion post. Your high school guidance counselor should be able to give you information about who to contact. Please contact the counselor or your local American Legion Post about the possibility of being selected. If you do not have a local legion post please reach out to us.
